About that Dora, non-Explorer (we knew someone would say the joke so I beat you to it...HA!)

[Mentally prepare yourself for I talking about myself in third-person, because that's usually what's done in "About Me" pages, not because I talk about myself in the third person...I'm more of a first and sixteenth-kind of person:]

Dora Goto is a filmmaker, film writer, media writer about film, and cartoon artist. She is interested in sharing stories that she finds interesting and can share her voice on, including stories about media, film news, and stories that put at its focus diverse and underrepresented groups.

Dora is a self-described cinephile, which is synonym for a very big film enthusiast that likes to over analyze films and likely find meaning in them that wasn't intended.

About Dora Goto Talks, aka this site you're currently on:
I love writing articles and stories, doing research and learning from them, but my intention for making Dora Goto Talks was not just reporting the story as is, but to try to add some commentary - when applicable and, if subjective, not affecting the integrity and objectivity of the story (so maybe there will be few cat lady jokes in a story here and there, but the story will still be reported and presented as it truthfully is).

While the stories I will be sharing are based on research and resources that I've gathered, I'm also interested in making my writing about stories feel more personal - hence the wrapping every story with "Sincerely, Dora Goto" followed by some lame joke that I come up with because I feel they're funny and I'm quirky even though I'm not Zoey Deschanel who I adore. I want to inform anyone who reads my writing about stories that I feel passionate about, enjoy, and that they can potentially love too and make them want to read more.

If you enjoy Dora Goto Talks, in which I talk about anything and everything in between, make sure to subscribe (I'm so going to beat Pewdiepie in subs!)

Having Breakfast at Tiffany's is NOW OFFICIALLY a Reality

Paramount Pictures If you're a big Aubrey Hepburn fan or simply a fan of good films from the 1960's like Breakfast at Tiffany's , then you'll probably be giddy as I to find out that an actual café store has opened at the fourth floor of the iconic Tiffany & Co. store located in Fifth Avenue in New York City. The café store is called Blue Box Café (rambling a little bit here so you have time to write it down, okay that's enough), officially opened its doors today, and according to a  review by Vogue  of the café's opening, it offers a $29 breakfast menu option that includes coffee and croissant with the "choice of an avocado toast, truffled eggs, or a smoked salmon bagel with schmear." But Blue Box Café will not only offer breakfast options (* very delicious breakfast options ), as  the  Vogue  review  noted that the cafe also offers lunch options at $39 (which include a starter and main course), including the "Charles Lewis Tiffany"

Jon Favreau FINALLY Revealed the One Real, Non-CGI Shot He Sneaked in "The Lion King" Adaptation

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures In the words of Joey Tribbiani, finally now "we know, we know, we know!" In a recent  LA Times article  film director Jon Favreau, who directed this year's  The Lion King adaptation starring Donald Glover and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, revealed that although the summer Disney film was made using and composed of computer-generated imagery (CGI) - utilizing VR and live-action technology and techniques, of course - the director did put one real-live action shot in the film "just to see if anybody would be able to pick it up." Naturally, in the nature of the Internet, thousands dared to take guesses, but Favreau ultimately ended up revealing on Friday the one real shot he used in The Lion King , revealing it to be "the first shot of the movie that begins The Circle of Life." Four Days After "The Addams Family" Hit Theaters, A Sequel Has Already Been Confirmed

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures Hear that? It's the sound of my mind being blown...or that of me snapping along to the Addams Family theme song. Following the commercial success of this year's animated re-imagining of one of our favorite unconventional families,  The Addams Family , which was released on theaters October 11, Deadline  exclusively confirmed on Tuesday that an animated kooky and spooky sequel is already in the works. In just its opening weekend, The Addams Family has earned $30.3 million from its theatrical releases in the United States and Canada (a little bit more than three-quarters of its $40 million budget), surpassing box office predictions and showing that millions of moviegoers are still interested in catching up with what Gomez Addams and his family are doing once again. In doing so,  The Addams Family also became the second highest grossing film in the domestic box office this weekend, following Joker which earned $55.9 million. While it curre
