That Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper "Shallow" Performance At the Oscars May Happen - Cooper Interested in an "Unorthodox" Performance

Warner Bros.

You know that song you've had in your head (and heart) since coming home from watching A Star is Born at the movie theater (..."Shallow"?? Unless your answer was all of the A Star is Born soundtrack!) It looks like a special performance of it for the upcoming Oscars is already being thought of!

While "Shallow" must be first nominated for Best Original Song and it isn't rare for a Academy Award nominated song to be performed at the Academy Awards (they typically always are, to bless our ears with their awesomeness once again), Bradley Cooper, who directed and starred in A Star is Born as Jackson Maine, is already ahead of the game and has already been in talks with Lady Gaga about it.

In a recent feature interview with Variety, Gaga told the magazine that Cooper already reached out to her about potentially performing "Shallow", what many consider to be the breakout song from A Star is Born, at the upcoming 91st Academy Awards should it get nominated.

"We talked about [potentially performing "Shallow" at the Oscars] actually, because I'm such a maniac," Cooper said. "I started texting her the whole pitch of how we should do it. So we'll see. There might be a cool, unorthodox way we could perform it."

And needn't Cooper worry, for Gaga told Variety that should the song be nominated, she would perform it "one hundred percent."

Variety / ART STREIBER FOR VARIETY

What exactly an "unorthodox" performance would entail I don't know (both Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in a meat dress??), but I am looking forward to being amazed (and hiding my tears) should "Shallow" be (rightfully) nominated for Best Original Song!

Should "Shallow" get nominated for Best Original Song and be performed at the upcoming Oscars would be a truly memorable experience not only because it is considered to be the breakout song from an equally breakout successful film ("Shallow" currently holds 104 million views on YouTube, while the film has generated over $326 million worldwide), but because it would become the first live duet performance of "Shallow" by Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga outside the film performance.

While Gaga has previously performed at the Academy Awards, including a Sound of Music medley in 2015 and a performance of her Academy Award nominated song "Til It Happens to You" in 2016, if "Shallow" is nominated it would make Cooper's first musical performance at the Oscars, making the possibility of a "Shallow" performance exciting and truly special.

The 91st Academy Awards will take place on February 24, 2019, and award nominations typically are announced a month prior to the ceremony. Until then, we've got "Shallow" to play over and over again.

Sincerely, a very excited Dora Goto

It's Not All Bad News for "Futurama" Fans, Thanks To Show's So-Developer David X. Cohen

JamCity If you are a big fan of Futurama like myself and were saddened by the news that Netflix was removing episodes from the cult-classic futuristic cartoon, then the show's co-developer David X. Cohen has come to the rescue! Recently it's been seen on Netlflix that various seasons of Futurama have been removed (only seasons 6 and 7 remain, which are divided into 2 parts and listed on Netflix as seasons 7 to 10), and naturally Futurama fans took to social media to express their discontent...most utilizing the show's own memes to do so. Before we go any further, I need to get this out of my system: ...There.  (I didn't mean for all the Futurama memes to be just of Professor Farnsworth, it just happened.)  But it's not all "bad news, everyone!" (Get it?!? Okay, I'll get back to the topic...) During a recent  Reddit AMA , the show's creator Matt Groening and head writer David X. Cohen, along with principal voice actor...

Having Breakfast at Tiffany's is NOW OFFICIALLY a Reality

Paramount Pictures If you're a big Aubrey Hepburn fan or simply a fan of good films from the 1960's like Breakfast at Tiffany's , then you'll probably be giddy as I to find out that an actual café store has opened at the fourth floor of the iconic Tiffany & Co. store located in Fifth Avenue in New York City. The café store is called Blue Box Café (rambling a little bit here so you have time to write it down, okay that's enough), officially opened its doors today, and according to a  review by Vogue  of the café's opening, it offers a $29 breakfast menu option that includes coffee and croissant with the "choice of an avocado toast, truffled eggs, or a smoked salmon bagel with schmear." But Blue Box Café will not only offer breakfast options (* very delicious breakfast options ), as  the  Vogue  review  noted that the cafe also offers lunch options at $39 (which include a starter and main course), including the "Charles Lewis Tiffany"...

Four Days After "The Addams Family" Hit Theaters, A Sequel Has Already Been Confirmed

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures Hear that? It's the sound of my mind being blown...or that of me snapping along to the Addams Family theme song. Following the commercial success of this year's animated re-imagining of one of our favorite unconventional families,  The Addams Family , which was released on theaters October 11, Deadline  exclusively confirmed on Tuesday that an animated kooky and spooky sequel is already in the works. In just its opening weekend, The Addams Family has earned $30.3 million from its theatrical releases in the United States and Canada (a little bit more than three-quarters of its $40 million budget), surpassing box office predictions and showing that millions of moviegoers are still interested in catching up with what Gomez Addams and his family are doing once again. In doing so,  The Addams Family also became the second highest grossing film in the domestic box office this weekend, following Joker which earned $55.9 million. While it...
